For Immediate Release, January 29, 2014 – American Loggers Insurance (ALI) is proud to announce its newest team member, Michael Beardsley. Bringing a wealth of experience in both logging and insurance industries as well as demonstrated commitment to forestry initiatives, Michael will be an asset to the growth and development of ALI. In his role as Director of Strategic Partnerships, Michael will develop partner strategy and roadmap, creating mutually beneficial relationships and collaboration to help meet ALI objectives.
Prior to joining ALI, Michael held various leadership positions with Chubb & Son, MBNA, Bar Harbor Bank and Trust and TIAA-CREF. Michael brings over 20 years of experience in banking, finance, insurance and financial services, public relations and association management. Most recently, he has served as the Executive Director for the Professional Logging Contractors (PLC) of Maine.
Futhermore, Michael has served as an ex-officio member of Maine Forest Products Council’s Board of Directors, Forest Resources Association’s Northeast Regions Policy Advisory Committee, Sustainable Forestry Initiative’s State Implementation Committee, Log-A-Load for Kids’ National Advisory Board and Maine Department of Labor’s Logging Industry Advisory Group.
We are confident that his proven leadership skills, logging expertise and strong insurance background will position him well in his new role at American Loggers Insurance.
